Mother's Day Part 2

How much do I love these three beautiful people? I don't know if I can even put it into words. They made this Mother's Day absolutely PERFECT. Thank you so much for treating me like royalty this weekend!! I love you all!!

So on Saturday, Perryn and Gabe went out on a 'date' per say to find me the perfect gift. When they got home Perryn couldn't contain her excitement! I wasn't sure if I was supposed to come down the stairs or not. When Gabe assured me I could, here is what I came down to. Perryn put it together ALL by herself. She even had to 'win' a heated discussion as to what color the bow should be. She reminded Gabe that my favorite color is orange and that's what color the bow should be. I love it.

Sunday morning I woke up to find this fun musical card. When you open it up, there is a fun little message from my family and then it starts playing "Unbelievable", it's very cool! Here it is...

Then on Monday, the FedEx guy dropped this off.....

Yes, it's a red iPod. And even though, I helped pick it out, Gabe had the engraving done (with the help of my sister). When I got it yesterday, I was informed that the 'theme' for Mother's Day this year was 'Super Mom'. My iPod says "Super Mom, we love you! Love, Perryn and Teagan". I must say, my heart melted and jumped a few beats when I read it. What even makes my (RED) iPod even more special is that it "provided 83 single dose (nevirapine) treatments for mother and baby, to prevent the transmission of HIV from mother to child". Please check out the link to see how you can help with the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa.
Thank you so much Gabe, Perryn, and Teagan. I really love my WHOLE weekend of love. You guys are the best!!

Here's Perryn's picture of me with my hot pink 'kitty' on Saturday night!!
**Check out the card/craft blog soon to see our Mother's Day gifts we gave and the Mother's Day cards that I made for them too.

I know I'm a little behind on reading your blog, but Wow! That is so awesome! You have such a sweet family. You won't believe this, but Tim got me a new ipod as well for Mother's Day. Mine is pink (that's the color i've been wanting)...plus a speaker dock. I don't do headphones well. It has been the best gift ever. I have a about 250 songs on it already and it is playing constantly! I hope you are enjoying yours as well.

Just now getting back to life, as usual after all our travels...thanks again for hosting us...the RED IPod is WAAAYYY cool! I'll have to check it out if I ever go over the the "dark side" :-) (away from my Zune, of course). I'm sure you'll have fun listening to your parenting audio books, sermons, and music On the Go or more likely, while 'cleaning the house' like I do...enjoy!
